The world’s top female tennis player Serena Williams accomplished something few this year can claim: finishing up 2016 as a winner.
On top of making the Australian Open finals, French Open Finals, winning Wimbledon to tie Steffi Graf’s record of 22 Grand Slams in the Open Era, winning the Wimbledon doubles tournament with her big sister Venus, and tying Graf with her 186th consecutive week ranked world No. 1, she got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, an internet millionaire and entrepreneur.
