TCU seniors Vladimir Brodziansky and Kenrich Williams were named All-Big 12 Conference Sunday- just as they were a year ago.

Brodziansky was named All-Big 12 Second Team and Williams was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention last season. The senior duo became the first repeat winners for TCU since Kyan Anderson, who was All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2014 and 2015.

Williams earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team after averaging 12.9 points and finishing as the second-best rebounder in the conference with 9.3 rebounds per game. His 12 double-doubles this season ranks third in the Big 12.

Williams was named Preseason All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in October and has since scored double-digit points 22 times and over 10 rebounds 13 times. The Waco native was named the Emerald Coast Classic Most Outstanding Player after recording double-doubles in the wins over New Mexico and St. Bonaventure. Williams also ranks third in the conference with 1.8 steals and sixth with 4.0 assists per game.

Brodziansky was named All-Big 12 Third Team after averaging 15.2 points, the 11th best in the conference. After being named Preseason All-Big 12 Conference in October, Brodziansky has been one of the most consistent scorers in the league. In the 31 games played, Brodziansky has scored in double-figures 27 times and has shot 57.7 percent from the field, the third-best in the Big 12. The Slovakian also ranks seventh with 1.6 blocks per game.

Sunday’s award, selected by the league’s head coaches, added one more to the list for Brodziansky who earlier this season was named Senior CLASS Award finalist, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award finalist and First Team Academic All-Big 12.

Brodziansky, Williams and the Horned Frogs will return to the hardwood in their 2018 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship quarterfinals matchup with Kansas State Thursday. Tipoff in Kansas City is set for 11:30 a.m.
